CPRD employee named OGA Volunteer of the Year
Congratulations to Phil Fribley, named Volunteer of the Year by the Oregon Golf Association for 2010.When Phil is not working as marshall for Chehalem Glenn Golf Course, he donates his time assisting OGA conduct and run amateur golf tournaments around the state. Phil has been a volunteer for 16 years, traveling as far as Klamath Falls and Bend, working starters, maintaing pace of play, and marshaling for OGA tournaments.
"I enjoy being able to help out with the sport this way," he said.
Chehalem Glenn Golf Course supervisor Brandon Thompson said "We're proud of what Phil does and winning that award."
Next time you're out on the green, be sure to shake Phil's hand.
